Indian Sorrel
















Indian sorrel, known as ‘Changeri’ in Sanskrit, belongs to the family Geraniaceae and its botanical name is Oxalis corniculata. This herb is rich in Vit-B1, iron and calcium.

Home Remedies


1. Warts: To remove warts, tender coconut water mixed with the juice of Indian sorrel leaves should be applied on it regularly.
2. Stomach disorders: leaves can be eaten as an appetizer; it stimulates the stomach and aids its action.
3. Piles: Weigh 10gms of the leaves and stem together add to buttermilk and boil, drink this twice daily to find relief from bleeding piles and menorrhagia
